Hey guys, it's been awhile since you last saw me ! And as you can see, I've started a journey to get back my clear skin & finally gotten my family's encouragement together with my strong determination to do something about my skin.
At the age of 14 till 16, I don't really have much problems with acne but that doesn't mean i don't have acne but fewer lol. It worsens when i finish my spm, pimples started spreading across my forehead, chin, one of my cheeks started to reddens and just remembering it makes me feel traumatic. Stress decided to take its revenge on me issit T_T
After that, my face was scarred by acne and I try to get rid of them. At first, a product recommended by my aunt works and my acne scars reduced ALOT , lets say 50%. I was so satisfied and discontinued using, somehow, pimples just start popping out again and no kidding i was so pissed that time i could stab myself.
I'm a stubborn person so i went to the pharmacy & tell the pharmacist about my skin condition, so she gave me another tube of cream. After 3 days of using it, my skin became dry and there are red marks similar to scratches and it stings! I quickly stop the medication. FULLSTOP.
I became worried about my skin more and more. I realized my best solution is to see a dermatologist instead of buying drugs which is too much of a risk for my skin. I discovered O2 Clinic in fb and heard many good feedbacks from that clinic. So i made up my mind to pay the dermatologist a visit to save my skin!!
Dr. Tiow , my dermatologist is a funny person. So i felt at ease with him and told him about my skin and how annoyed i am bla bla bla. And of course i bombarded him with questions. So, the first step is to prevent anymore breakouts & take everything step by step. the scars will have to wait uhuk. The key to prevent pimples is to maintain our skin's natural moisturizer which is oil. Excessive oil is the main reason causing our pores to clogged (together with dust/other particles) & thats when uglam breakout happens :(
My skin was not even close to oily but lately it seems to be kinda oily. Dr. Tiow take a look at my skin and prescribe me with products to use - A cleanser, rice cream(whitening effect), Ezenide lotion, Zindaclin gel & a type of night use only gel. You can Google up for more info of the gels i've mentioned.
The motive is to reduce the red marks plus my skin's oil thus keeping it moist. Yes, they made me wear a shower cap-like together with my ugly bare face to take pictures. (for comparing) I felt so embarrassed i wanna crawl into a hole and die. Dr. Tiow told me to come back another 2 weeks for a skin review.
I'm very pleased with the clinic's fast services and chilly atmosphere. I paid a total amount of RM229 for my treatment ; which is abit pricey but its worth it. Do consider to visit O2 Clinic for acne/pimples treatment. And i also learnt a lot about skin HAHAHA. Signing off now, post #2 will be up soon.
